About Twisted Off Road

Twisted Off Road is the home of Twisted 4WD Gymkhana, a timed off-road competition held on a working farm in the Brookton area of Western Australia.

The event

Twisted 4WD Gymkhana is built around crews of two: a driver and a navigator. Stages are tight courses marked out with bunting through the farm's hills, gullies, rocks and scrub, run by day and under lights at night. Every stage is timed. Touching the tape, missing a gate or needing a recovery costs penalties. The cleanest, quickest crew wins.

It's competitive, but it's also a weekend away. Crews camp on site, mates come to help in the pits, and the night stages are a highlight.

The people behind it

Twisted Off Road is run by a small team of off-road enthusiasts who wanted an event that tests driving skill as much as horsepower. We rely on volunteers, marshals and local sponsors to make every event happen, and we're always keen to hear from people who want to get involved.

Where we're heading

We're planning Twisted 4WD Gymkhana 2027 now, and working towards opening it to spectators. Dates and details will be posted here and on our Facebook page as soon as they're confirmed.
